The Journey to your PINNACLE

Climbing a mountain may be the ultimate metaphor for business growth. Our Journey is
about going somewhere that few others have gone in your industry. It is about becoming a
company people talk about and want to be a part of. It is about overcoming obstacles and
doing what people said cannot be done. It is making the hard decisions.

Having a clearly defined strategy is essential. Do you know the route? Have you packed the
right tools? Do you know which crevasses to avoid? Have you assembled the best team?

If your goal is to get to the summit, you will need to travel light so you are agile and responsive –
but still ready for any storm or clear climbing window. The peak is not always in sight.

Base Camp is a good time to double check the current conditions, assemble your team, and
prepare for a challenging journey. It is never a solo climb. So, you will need a good guide,
the right people in the right boots, the best guidebooks, and a willingness to follow in the
footsteps of others.

developing and coaching people to perform at their highest level. We want people to work
in their unique ability. What do they love to do and thrive in doing it? We will need to Level UP
as Leaders and Managers.

Three Keys to our Success:

1. Take RESPONSIBILITY – If someone or something does not work, it is ultimately OUR FAULT – we

did not make it simple enough or communicate well enough, say it often enough, or we picked
the wrong person for the job.

2. Once you decide something – be together – ONE Team. If you did not win the argument for the
final decision (even if you strongly did not agree with it), you will cause chaos unless you buy

in and support it fully. Consensus is not always possible, and sometimes the top leader must
decide. Support it as if you always agreed – no exceptions.

3. Obsess about “People + Purpose + Playbook + Performance = Winning (Profits)”

Like any good climber, you will need to check your compass
and playbook often to achieve your daily elevation gain.
When you reach the PINNACLE together, you will be People
rewarded with a spectacular 360-degree view that
very few ever see.
