At launch, we will create two $HOPE pools:

• Treasury - 33% of all $HOPE tokens will be locked in a treasury contract. The principal tokens
will be permanently locked in the contract (this is the equivalent of burning 33% of the tokens
at launch), but the Treasury will also benefit from the 3% transaction fee distributed back to
token holders. Those fees will be allocated to the DAO, Charity wallet, and Holder. The DAO will
use its allocation for further development of the protocol or deposit it in the reward pool to
provide more liquidity.

• Reward pool - of all $HOPE tokens will be locked in the reward pool. The reward pools serve
several functions:

o A very small amount (0.01%) of the outstanding tokens in the reward pool will be
distributed daily to LP providers for the $HOPE token, thus promoting the token’s liquidity.
LP providers will also earn the 2% distribution fee on their money. This mechanic makes the
pool perpetual (e.g., it can never be depleted) but reduces rewards over time.

o If $HOPE token users want to participate in the charity incentives, then they can just send
their $HOPE tokens to the reward pool; this way, they achieve two goals:
» A higher number of tokens in the pool means more inflow from the 3% fee distribution.
» A higher number of tokens in the pool means more rewards for liquidity providers and
better protocol health.

o The DAO can choose to allocate part of the Treasury to the Reward pool as well.

o Since the distribution to LP holders is very small, the tokens in the reward pool are “as if”
they were burned.
