Matra Chaat                                                   Snack made from a relative of the Dried Green Pea





                                                                        This is a delicious spicy snack. Matar Ki Chaat can be served
                                                                        as a snack, or as a main dish with Kulcha or Naan.


















                                                                        Serves 4




        INGREDIENTS


        •  1 cup matara (light brown in color, they look almost like           •  2 tablespoons ginger, finely chopped

        •  1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)                                   •  2 tablespoons tamarind pulp

        METHOD
