Step Three
De-puffing
It isn’t time to moisturize and head out just yet -
step three in your morning skincare routine is all
about de-puffing your skin and getting ready to
face the day (pun intended!).
After a night's sleep, it’s perfectly normal to
wake up with puffy eyes or a slightly swollen
face, especially if you’re a hard-working
woman.
Luckily, there are plenty of ways to combat
morning puffiness and give your skin a boost of
hydration and that pink blush that makes you
look like you’re more well-rested than you’ve
ever been.
First up, when you have the time, try
incorporating a hydrating mask into your
routine. This will help to soothe any puffiness
you may be experiencing, and also provide a
boost of hydration to your skin. Look for masks
with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or aloe
vera, which are known for their hydrating and
soothing properties. After cleansing your face,
apply the mask and leave it on for the
recommended amount of time, then rinse off
for a glowing, refreshed complexion.
Another way to tackle morning puffiness is with
an eye mask. These are specifically designed to
target the delicate skin around your eyes and
help reduce puffiness and dark circles. Simply
apply the eye masks to clean your skin and
leave them on for the recommended amount of
time. You can also store them in the fridge for
an extra cooling and refreshing effect!
