The gluten-free approach can be incorporated
into any diet. It involves avoiding foods that

contain gluten, a protein commonly found in
wheat, barley, rye, and triticale (a wheat-rye
         hybrid). By eliminating these ingredients,

individuals can avoid the potential negative
effects of gluten consumption on their health.

Gluten contains gliadin, which is a powerful
trigger of zonulin release. Zonulin increases
intestinal permeability by opening the tight

         junctions in the epithelial lining.

There are conditions that are related to the

                           consumption of gluten

Celiac disease is a condition triggered by gluten,
and it causes the immune system to damage the
lining of the small intestine. It is an autoimmune

         disorder.

Non-celiac gluten sensitivity causes some signs

and symptoms that are associated with celiac
diseases, such as abdominal pain, bloating,

diarrhea, constipation, "foggy brain," rash, or
         headache.

Gluten ataxia is an autoimmune disorder that
affects certain nerve tissues and causes
problems with muscle control and voluntary

         muscle movement.
