Between May 28th and July 14th, visiting
Lofoten in the summer will provide you
with the opportunity to witness the
phenomenon of the sun shining 24/7. It
is a magical and vibrant period that
offers a plethora of experiences in a
short span of time, with never-ending
days. Although it is important to
prioritize rest, sacrificing a few hours of
sleep to witness the midnight sun in
Lofoten is definitely worth it.

If possible, it is recommended to adjust
your sleep schedule slightly for a few
days to make the most of the midnight KVALVIKA BEACH
sun by hiking during this beautiful time
of day. The added benefit of doing so is
encountering fewer people on the
mountains and roads.
