MISSION

The Hope Foundation Dao (HopeDao) is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO)
dedicated to creating a global community around the cause of disrupting the highest risk factors
for mental health crises through proactive prevention outreach and education.

The Foundation represents a paradigm shift from traditional approaches that are focused on
incremental impact and severely underserved populations. Every day, communities feel the harm
and effects of underserved mental health care that is the status quo in our society.

There is no prejudice on the mental health crisis. It touches every ethnic, geographic, and economic
segment of the global population. Rates of death and harm continue to accelerate.

We cannot afford for the crisis to be fought gradually any longer.

The Foundation, and its non-profit action arm, The Hope For us Network, is a lived experience
coalition with a 21st-century solution dedicated to catalyzing transformational change on mental
health and suicide prevention through our pioneering proactive suicide prevention theory. Using
our clinically backed programming system of outreach, education, and peer-to-peer activism,
we will evolve our communities from reactive policies to aggressive practices that drive early
recognition and intervention on mental health challenges.

The proactive prevention model is about deploying education that engineers life-saving
conversations. To pierce through the silencing effect stigmas have on individuals and communities
at large.

To sustain these missions, we have created token mechanicals that will utilize the $HOPE Coin
protocol to evolve the Hope Foundation into a self-funded, progressively decentralized DAO.

The Foundation has created a custom, sustainable tokenomics structure to help its community
build wealth whilst simultaneously financing critical mental health initiatives. And while we go into
great detail about the $HOPE coin’s tokenomic structure in the coming pages, we want to first
outline how our community will positively impact the mental crisis with every $HOPE transaction.
